This is my entry for the Spectacular challenge.
My main focus was on the evocative aspect of the image and how powerful love really is.
This is the story that I wrote to go with the entry:
Impact is imminent. All the efforts to avoid catastrophy failed. During the chaos of a last minute evacuation David and Renee separated but destiny works in mysterious ways and by what some call coincidence, moments before the giant arrived they once again found each other at the same place where they first met.
They embraced one more time, every second feels like hours and not a word was spoken, none had to be said. now death is rapidly coming with a thunderous sound but that's allright now, they have each other and they leave with the greatest thing one can have... love.
